Creator Policies

Last updated: July 2026

Onboarding fee is non-refundable

Accepted creators pay a one-time onboarding and consultation fee of £20 on signing the creator agreement. This fee is strictly non-refundable once paid, including if you later withdraw, are terminated for breach, or do not reach a platform's monetization threshold. Nothing is payable to apply — the fee is only due at signing.

No income guarantee

Signing the agreement and paying the consultation fee does not guarantee income. Each platform sets its own monetization thresholds (follower counts, watch hours, eligibility reviews) and payouts only begin once a platform officially approves your account and gross revenue is generated.

Eligibility and account transfers

Existing pages qualify for direct monetization management transfer only with a minimum of 20,000 authentic followers. Audience size and monetization status are non-transferable between platforms — a monetized Facebook page does not grant monetization on TikTok or YouTube, and new platform accounts are built from scratch. All creators, regardless of audience size, pay the standard onboarding fee and complete our screening, training and review plan before monetization services begin.

Commission and revenue split

Standard commission is 20% on platform revenue and may vary up to 30% on negotiated brand or sponsorship deals, always with prior written disclosure. Commission is calculated on gross revenue after deduction of approved direct out-of-pocket growth expenses (paid ads, premium software, third-party editing). Written approval via WhatsApp or email is obtained before any expense over the £50 equivalent.

Payouts, currency and fees

GSM Talent HUB receives payment from platforms and brands and disburses your share (typically 80% of platform revenue or 70% of brand deal revenue) within seven days of receiving cleared funds or verified payment statements. Payouts are made in Sierra Leone Leones, and standard transfer or mobile money fees (Orange Money, Afrimoney and similar) are deducted from the payout.

Transparency and audit rights

We provide transparent financial reporting. On reasonable written request, and no more than once per quarter, you may request screenshots or exported ledgers of the exact gross platform payouts received on your behalf so you can verify your distribution.

Term, probation and exclusivity

The agreement starts with a 90-day probation and evaluation period, then automatically renews into a five-year exclusive term, followed by successive one-year renewals unless either party gives 30 days' written notice. During the exclusive term neither party may terminate without cause. Commission remains payable for two years after termination on deals or revenue streams the agency negotiated or introduced (sunset provision).

The 90-Day Challenge and conduct

Creators must publish at least one original, self-produced post per day for the first 90 consecutive days after signing, act professionally, and comply with applicable law and platform policy. All sponsored, promotional or affiliate content must carry clear disclosures (#ad, #sponsored, #gifted) in line with platform guidelines and advertising law.

Technical compliance and account access

Creators follow the agency's technical setup requirements, including the mandatory use of approved VPN software where legally permitted for logins to monetized accounts. The agency holds Owner/Master Admin rights on applicable platforms (Meta Business Manager, YouTube Studio) for the duration of the agreement; on termination and final settlement those rights revert to the creator, who retains ownership of all original content.

Termination and breach

We may terminate immediately for unauthorized logins or technical non-compliance, failure to meet the probationary posting requirement, criminal conviction or reputationally damaging conduct, failure to pay due amounts within seven days of invoicing, or a platform or client finding of unprofessional conduct or policy violation. Both parties agree to non-disparagement during and after the term.

Independent contractor status and tax

Creators are independent contractors, not employees. No employee benefits are provided and no tax withholdings are made on your behalf. GSM Talent HUB Ltd is registered in the United Kingdom and is responsible for UK tax on its own share; you are responsible for reporting and paying tax on your share in your country of residence. You authorise the agency to issue self-billed statements solely for UK accounting records.

Data protection

Personal data is stored and processed securely and used solely for account management, negotiations and payment processing. We do not share creator data with external parties without prior written consent.

Governing law and disputes

The creator agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Sierra Leone. Both parties attempt informal negotiation or local mediation for at least 30 days before litigation; unresolved disputes are settled in the courts of Freetown, Sierra Leone.
